Set up a custom domain

Start the separate domain service, choose a new .com or a domain you own, and follow the remaining setup steps.

Start the domain service

  1. Open Plan and billing and start the separate $99-per-year custom-domain service. Confirm the amount and currency before completing Stripe checkout.
  2. Open Domain and choose whether FrameAhead should find an eligible .com or connect a domain you control. Enter the domain without `www`, such as `example.com`.
  3. For a domain you own, make only the unresolved DNS changes FrameAhead shows.
  4. Wait for DNS and TLS verification before activation.

What the first steps do

Checkout and domain submission do not activate the domain by themselves. Managed domains are connected automatically after the required provider checks. FrameAhead secures HTTPS and supports both the address without `www` and the `www` address. Contact Support from the dashboard if you need help with a remaining DNS step.
